No NMBB performance on Day of the Amateur Arts

After our registration in July, we were assigned a nice place on the Eemplein. However, we had to inform the organizer (Scholen in de Kunst) that we are unfortunately not able to present the complete big band because of too many absent musicians. Also band leader Daniel Follmann would have great difficulty in being present. We might have been able to play if we could have arranged enough substitutes, but that would have meant a major drain on our finances. For the first time in our existence we had to cancel a performance. Unfortunately, but it is no different. A new chance next year. After an oral explanation, Scholen in de Kunst fully understood our decision.
